eAWB – AA Cargo

Posted by admin
At the start of 2019, IATA announced a resolution making eAWB the default shipment process for the air freight industry. To continue pushing for paperless, American Airlines will be expanding the number of origin stations subject to the $20 fee charged for the paper processing of non-eAWB general freight shipments.

On July 1, 2019, AA Cargo is expanding their $20 non-eAWB paper processing fee to Athens (ATH), Dublin (DUB), Rome (FCO), Washington Dulles (IAD), Lisbon (LIS), Miami (MIA), Milan (MXP), Philadelphia (PHL), Shannon (SNN), and Venice (VCE). Fee will now also apply to international and transborder general freight shipments originating in:

  • Washington D.C. (IAD)
  • Miami (MIA)
  • Philadelphia (PHL)
  • Athens (ATH)
  • Dublin (DUB)
  • Rome (FCO)
  • Lisbon (LIS)
  • Milan (MXP)
  • Shannon (SNN)
  • Venice (VCE)
