Winter Storm Jaden began impacting the Plains and Midwest over the weekend with snowfall, ice, and blizzard conditions. Winter storm warnings continue across the Great Lakes and have been issued in Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Tennessee. In the wake of the storm temperatures throughout the country are expected to drop to record levels.

Following Winter Storm Jaden, our Chicago Intermodal facilities have experienced declines in drayage support and as temperatures continue to drop it is expected that driver availability will continue to weaken. To protect operations in Chicago the following temporary lane closures are announced:

Effective 5:00pm Tuesday, January 29th, and until further notice, all origin-facility ingates will close to empty Domestic and International shipments billed to Chicago.

 In addition, the following lanes will temporarily close to loaded shipments:
